C & K Contracts Ltd was formed in March 1993.
The C & K stands for Christopher and Kevin who are brothers.
They had both worked in the demolition industry in one form or another for many years.
Chris had joined a local demolition company virtually straight from school, Kevin joined the same company a couple of years later.

Chris spent most of his time with this company driving small excavators carrying out small demolition contracts, the contracts getting larger as time passed, and his experience increased.
Kevin's time with this company was taken up driving the low-loader delivering/collecting the plant/equipment to the various demolition sites.
When the low-loader was quiet occasionally Kevin would drive an excavator on small demolition contracts.

That original company suffered financial problems so both brothers left, working for other companies, learning more, and more about the demolition industry.
As time passed they came to the conclusion that from what they had seen working for others they could form a company, which a little effort could carry out the same type of work, but in a safer, more efficient manner, so C & K Contracts was established.

Due to the contacts already made during the previous years, work started to come in slowly at first, gradually gathering pace up to the present time.
